Bumble Catch Up
It has been a rough spring for Bumble, but it looks like things are simmering down a bit and getting back to normal.
I had some serious neck problems that while not gone, have at least stopped the intensity of their pain. Then some side affects to a new prescribed med has had me reeling.
Back on my feet at last, I am dyeing fiber like crazy. Purchased a huge electric pot that I can use outside and free up the burners on my stove. Won’t be outside everyday unless the weather is nice, but with summer just around the corner I should be able to catch up on all this washed fleece just waiting for some color.
The husband is building a new back porch and nothing could be getting more complicated as he decides upon this and that design. The end result will be stunning, but this limits my ability to get to my outside washtub and the area that I wanted to use for my dye pot.
Instead, I must carry water around the corner of the backyard and set up on the cement sidewalk. I thought I was past the age of carrying pots of water, but doesn’t seem to be the case. Still, that big pot holds a lot of fleece and things do go faster than dyeing fiber in smaller pots on the stove.
All in all, seems like a lumbar yard around here what with all the cut wood waiting to be nailed into place. Sure hope this goes through soon and I can get my work back on the other side of the house.
